Refund Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Draft for review. This page is a template written for a typical data-only eSIM reseller. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have it reviewed before Chaski eSIM takes real payments.
We want you connected the moment you land in Peru. Because eSIMs are digital products delivered instantly, refunds work as follows.
1. Eligible for a full refund
- You request a refund within 30 days of purchase and the eSIM has never connected to a network in Peru (so your plan never started). Installing it early is fine and does not affect this.
- You were charged twice or charged for an eSIM that was never delivered.
- The eSIM is faulty and our support team cannot fix the problem (for example, it never connects in a covered area despite correct setup). A replacement may be offered first.
2. Not eligible for a refund
- Your plan has started, meaning the eSIM has connected to a network in Peru, except in the faulty case above.
- Your device is not eSIM-compatible or is carrier-locked — checking compatibility is your responsibility before purchase.
- Unused days or data, early end of a trip, or changes in travel plans after your plan has started.
- Slow speeds or limited coverage that are normal for the local network or location, or service suspended for misuse.
- The eSIM was deleted from your device by you.
3. How to request a refund
Email hola@chaskisim.com with your order ID and the email used at checkout. For technical problems, include your device model and screenshots of your mobile settings. We will check the eSIM's activation status with our network partner before approving.
4. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We cannot refund bank or currency-conversion fees charged by your card issuer.
5. Your legal rights
This policy does not affect any rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be excluded.
