Terms of Service
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of eSIM data plans sold by Chaski eSIM, operated by Lucas Hammons, sole proprietor, d/b/a Chaski eSIM, 1401 Lavaca St #40356, Austin, TX 78701, USA ("Chaski eSIM", "we", "us"), through chaskisim.com. By buying a plan you agree to these Terms.
1. What we sell
We resell prepaid, data-only eSIM plans for use in Peru. Mobile network service is provided by our eSIM partner and its local network operators. Plans do not include a phone number, voice calls or SMS. "Unlimited" plans include 1 GB of full-speed data per 24 hours; after that, speed is reduced to about 512 kbps until the allowance resets, with no extra charge. Data packs include the stated amount of full-speed data, valid for 30 days. Network operators may also apply fair-use policies, speed management during congestion, and limits on hotspot/tethering.
2. Device compatibility is your responsibility
Before buying, you must confirm that your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. Lists of compatible devices on our site are for guidance only. We are not responsible for a plan that cannot be used because the device is incompatible, locked, or restricted by your home carrier.
3. Ordering, payment and delivery
- Prices are shown in US dollars and include any fees we charge. Your bank may add currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Your eSIM (QR code and activation details) is delivered by email and on your order page, usually within minutes. Check your spam folder and that your email address is correct.
- We may refuse or cancel orders we suspect are fraudulent, and refund any amount charged.
4. Plan validity
A plan's days start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in Peru, unless stated otherwise at purchase. Unused days or data cannot be carried over, transferred or exchanged for cash. An eSIM can usually be installed only once; deleting it from your device may make it unusable.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful activity, spam, network attacks, resale without our permission, or in ways that harm the network or other users. We or the network operator may suspend service for misuse without refund.
6. Service quality
Coverage and speeds depend on the local network, location, terrain, device and congestion, and are not guaranteed. Remote areas of Peru may have limited or no coverage. We are not liable for outages caused by network operators or events outside our control.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In short: you get a full refund within 30 days of purchase if the eSIM has never connected to a network in Peru (installing it is fine), and for double charges or a faulty eSIM we cannot fix. Once your plan has started (first connection in Peru), it is not refundable except for faulty service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a plan is limited to the amount you paid for that plan. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as missed bookings, lost business or roaming charges from your home carrier. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.
9. Privacy
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms; the version in force when you bought applies to that purchase. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
